In loving memory of Tarzan.
Poor Tarzan had nothing except an old bag that he could sleep on. Nothing else…
He was alone in this world. No shelter. No food. No water. No medical help and most of all no love. Everyone chased him away as he was sick and they wanted nothing to do with him. Even with nothing in life, this boy stayed incredibly loyal. He was not chained, nothing held him back, but yet he stayed at that house that he knew. The house where his so called owner stayed. He sat, waiting for death to take him from this miserable life. Months came and months went…
and every day it became more unbearable.
We noticed this broken soul when we did an outreach in the community, and our hearts just shattered into a million pieces. How could life be this cruel to an innocent soul? Our quarantine area is overflowing, which means we did not even have ONE open cage. We just had to make a plan to squeeze one more in. There was no way that we could walk away and leave this boy to die without help!
A big thank you goes out to Bonile that made sure we got this boy
safely to us. Thank you for your compassion and kind heart. Thank you for fighting for our furkids… every single one of them.
Tarzan arrived at LLF and we rushed him to the vet. He had so much love to give but sadly all our dreams and hopes for a bright future were crushed. All our love for you was not enough to save you.
We were too late. You were a really old man and your pelvis was completely
shattered. Your eye needed removal…. Not only was your body broken but so too your soul. You were no longer strong enough to hold on.
Dear Tarzan, we know you were tired and you needed to let go from this earthly suffering. We are so sorry dear fur’iend. Please know that we loved you and still do. It does not matter that you’ve shared your life only briefly with us, you will be our son forever and ever. When you look down from above, we hope that you know that we only wanted the best for you…
that we loved you dearly and that your suffering and neglect fueled our
determination to make a change out there for those who needs us too.
Run free our special boy.
We love you forever and ever…. till we meet again dear Tarzan.
