Meet Grace – Rescued 23 May 2015

I was pushing myself forward with the last little bit of strength left in my weary body, my hind leg dangling,
but I did not feel the pain for I was just too tired. Too tired to remember my past and too tired to think of
what would happen next, that is IF there was even a future.

But then they came, Nina and them picked me up on the R102 near Eerste Rivier. I did not know what
was going to happen next…. eventually I found myself in a place they call Lucky Lucy. I was just so tired.
At first I was worried when I looked at the human’s faces while they were doing tests on me, something
called Parvo and Distemper. I do not know who felt more relieved when all the tests came back negative,
me or the humans.

I am very skinny, just a bag of bones, and the mange is terrible with big itchy sores. Treatment has already
started and I am warm and snug with a full tummy. I drink all my meds like a good girl as it keep the pain away.

Please think of me!

Initially we thought Grace might lose her badly hurt leg but luckily the leg will be fine.

Please help little Grace. She is about 6 months old, a mere baby and yet she has gone through hell already.
Please help so that her future is filled only with light, love and all things nice that suits a little princess like her.
