The love of a furkid knows no limit and neither does his/her loyalty. Four years ago her owners packed up and left….leaving behind their most precious ‘possession’. Four years she waited by the house that was no longer a home. Maybe it never was a home…we’ll never know… for a home is filled with love and a house is, well just a house.
Four years she roamed the streets and fended for herself until one day she had nothing left. Luckily Charlotte came across her and brought her into our care. We have named this precious older gem Ulla. Named after an old Norse name meaning ‘will & determination’ because she fought to stay alive. Her fight is finally over. She can let go and open herself to love and comfort at our shelter. From now on Ulla does not need to fight, for we will fight for her.
Ulla, welcome to our family. We will care for you and love you no matter what. We will never do what your previous people did. We will NEVER leave you. Abandoning a furkid is to leave him/her behind for dead.
It takes a lifetime to get this sweet and sweet this old girl is! So, here is to a brand new life and a forever home someday soon.
Ulla went for her first vet visit today. This skinny girl is suffering from a spine problem that will now be managed. If you could spare a few cents towards her medical care and consultation it would be much appreciated.

We have an adoption/microchip event at Petworld in Goodwood. Please pop in to look at the gorgeous pups. You can also pop in at the farm on Saturday or Sunday between 9h00 and 14h00 to meet our adult dogs or on Sunday between 10h00 and 14h00 all our pups.
Every month we really stress about our running cost and it would be pawsome if we had enough Guardian Angels signing debit orders to help finance our day to day expenses. Please encourage your friends and family to sign a debit order from as little as R100 a month. Existing Guardian Angels of R50 can continue as normal or let us know if you would like to increase your donation amount.
