Whenever I go to the LLF farm it never ceases to amaze me that we have only been resident there for one year!
The farm is truly turning into a haven for abused animals and at the hands of a committed volunteer group, the dog shelters and Cattery have become comfortable, warm and weather sheltered areas. None of this would have been at all possible without the generous support of our committed donors who have given generously over the last year- to them we owe a great debt.
The Lucky Lucy board members and weekend warrior volunteers have several fund raising activities planned for the next three months and we ask that you either support or rally support amongst your sphere of influence for these occasions as they are critical to us continuing our work.
December approaches and as managers of the foundation our stress levels increase at this time of year! It is difficult to raise funds over the festive season when families, as they should, are enjoying well-earned breaks with their families. We ask that you keep that in mind and put something ‘in the Christmas sock’ for the animals in our care.
My sincere thanks to those who continue to give selflessly of their time and money to care for the LLF dogs and cats, you will never really know how much we appreciate it.
My thanks and kind Regards
Richard Green
Chairperson of the Lucky Lucy Foundation
