Meet Bone, James Bone…. Rescued 9/9/2015

James Bone found himself in very sad state when he used his last bit of strength to walk from the nearby squatter camp to someone’s yard in Paarl. His angel gave him food and contacted us to help this poor boy.
We immediately took him to the vet. He has sarcoptic mange and a severely infected skin with puss oozing out everywhere. His life source was also drained by the scary number of ticks that lived off his poor body. …And to top it off not only did the ticks live off him, but also the horrible worms in his tummy! He also has a bony protrusion on his side which feels like a rib that was broken ages ago.
We guess this boy can write a book on what he has been through, but he told us that he wants to forget the past and only focus on the here and now…. His goal is to get better and to find an awesome family of his own. A family that will never let him suffer and who will love him forever!
At the moment ‘Bones’ is an undercover agent, but he will soon use his special ‘license to lick’ again and concur the world with his lovable nature! A Fox Terrier cross boy of 5 years old should be in the prime of his life, not this….
If you can help ‘Bones’ get back on his feet please help to donate towards his medical bill care.

Update 13 September 2015 – Rambo

Our handsome boy Rambo is responding to treatment and some fluffy hair is already making an appearance. … but our boy is still extremely shy and does not want to be touched. He no longer hides in the corner and his eyes light up when he sees a yummy treat, but it will still be a long struggle ahead to win his trust. We do believe that love and patience will win our boy over soon, so that he too can enjoy nice cuddles

Update 13 September 2015 – Meisie

The girl with the big brown eyes is full of smiles and her tail never stops wagging. She is doing great and slowly picking up the much needed weight. She will also bark loudly should you dare not to give her any attention…Yes! she already has us all in the palm of her paw… doing whatever she desires. She is sending everyone BIG loving licks and lotsa kisses!

We have plenty of dogs and cats who are ready for adoption. Please ask your friends and family to consider adopting and saving a life.

A very big thank you to everybody that supported our Pamper a Pet Day. It was a huge success and we hope to do it again soon.

Please support our adoption day on Saturday in Durbanville and Goodwood and tell all your friends and family about it.

This week we took in some special cases like James Bone. To continue helpings animals like James Bone we need your support. To each and every person who has made a donation towards James Bone and all the others in our care, THANK YOU!

Every month we really stress about our running cost and it would be pawsome if we had enough Guardian Angels signing debit orders to help finance our day to day expenses. Please encourage your friends and family to sign a debit order from as little as R100 a month. Existing Guardian Angels of R50 can continue as normal or let us know if you would like to increase your donation amount.

Please see the rest of our newsletter for all the latest news and ways how you can help.

Thanks for all the suppawt!

In loving memory – Baby Bullet

If you look at the sky tonight and see a bright new shining star…. know that it is our little Bullet smiling from above.

Just after 7AM this morning Bullet took a step across the rainbow bridge leaving his earthly body behind. As distemper took over and stage 2, neurological distemper, rattled his puppy body, the angels came and took his little paw and gently helped him across the rainbow bridge where they will look after our little boy until we are all reunited one day.

Baby Bullet, know that we love you dearly and that even though you only crossed our paths briefly, you will be in our hearts and memories forever. Go well dear boy… until we meet again. Remember, we love you more than words can ever say.

Please mail marieridout1@gmail.com if you would like to support and buy tickets.
