Showcasing our successes – Doggies up for adoption

We recently had a photo shoot for some of our less ‘visible’ orphan doggies by the noted and awesome photographer, Andrew Waltman. Ones that are often overlooked even though they are stunning in appearance. We are extremely proud of the team responsible for their care, socialisation and rehabilitation. Literally a from rags to riches story. We can honestly say that these dogs displayed here are the most loyal, vigilant, beautiful and loving companions you could ever hope to have in your life.

Our appeal to you is that if you cannot find it in your heart to adopt any of these very special souls, please share this email with as many of your like-minded friends, family and colleagues.

Bentley

Adopt Bentley

Bentley is a gorgeous boy looking for a home, this time one that lasts furever. His pawrents moved to another house and couldn’t take him with. His tail was chopped off when he was just a tiny pup. Please consider adopting this young man today!

Cash

Adopt Cash

Cash was abandoned as his owner fled the country. It took a long time to gain his trust and eventually he joined our family. This we achieved with lots of TLC and lots of leash walks, which he adores.

This hunk is ready to share his life with you. He loves his camp mate Lexie, a gorgeous girl who beat the odds and survived distemper.

Coco

Adopt Coco

Coco was found running on the West Coast Road in November 2015. It was evident that she had pups, but was no longer lactating. Sadly no pups were found. he got her pre-baby figure back, is sterilized and her bags are packet – ready to jump in your car and head home with you.

Dusty

Dusty is a handsome crossbreed with a gorgeous cream coat. He was found lying in the middle of the veld near a farm and brought to us. He is such a darling boy and will lap up all the attention you have to offer! He came to LLF in 2011 and as he is an older boy we would really like to see him settle in a home.

He is longing for a loving family to come and take him home with them.

Fiesta

Adopt Fiesta

Fiesta is an active boy who are just waiting for his own happy-furever-after. He is quite an active lad, and very vigilant. He absolutely adores his camp walks with his 5 camp companions, and loves human interaction and affection. He is a strong walker so he will be an excellent companion (and protector) for lady runners.

Fiesta arrived at LLF in December 2010 with his siblings, Fudge and Fidget.

Harley

Harley was surrendered to our shelter. This sweet boy would love to be part of a family again. Harley looks like a labrador dachshund cross and is a beautiful boy. He gets on with other dogs and will be the perfect companion for an older person. He loves sitting on a lap.

Lexie is a gorgeous girl who beat the odds and survived distemper. She was surrendered by her homeless owner when he could no longer look after her when she got sick when she was only a few months old.

She loves other canines. She has a ridge on her back that makes her even more special and unique. Lexie also loves her camp mate, Cash very much. Please open your heart and take her home with you.

A stunning girl waiting with vigor and eagerness to love and please. She is obedient, loyal, a problem-solver and soooo devoted! She just makes everyone love her and smile all day long! M&M has been waiting for more than 5 years for a home.

Marley

Marley was found as a puppy (with her brother Bovril) on Wynberg Main Road on Friday 27 February 2015. They were with a homeless person who wasn’t looking after them. Both were adopted by different families. Sadly Marley’s family returned her when she was less than a year old. This is not due to Marley’s fault and now she finds herself homeless. Please hear her plea for a FUREVER home.

Snoepie came to us when we saw him as an ill puppy during an outreach. He was diagnosed with distemper but with much TLC he survived! By the time he was healthy, his owner was not to be found and now he needs a new home to call his own.

Onyx was rescued in Klipheuwel after living in a crate with some of her dead siblings. Two puppies were saved. She is super special & being precious gemstones says it all. She is a lively girl that will entertain you 24/7.

He is a strong walker who will keep you it tip-top shape physically and will shower you with love upon return.

Zorro

A nutter and is such a strange yet amazing fur’iend! So food focused and playful but cannot resist cuddling or comforting his human.

However he is quite independent and is selective but would make his new mom or dad his whole world! As a puppy who has puppy-strangles when younger, he is very lucky to be alive!

His leash-walks are very important to him along with his five camp mates and he adores human companionship.
