What a week it has been again with yet more critical cases to attend to. Wine had a
rubber bullet lodged in her jaw which had to beremoved, Jeremy had an eye operation,
Rocky has billary and required urgent veterinary care and Clive needed his leg amputated
he is currently having dinner, bed and breakfast at our compassionate vets
until he is strong enough to be discharged. All in a day’s work for our dedicated staffand
volunteers whom we will be introducing over the next few newsletters.
The Board is so committed to this cause that they took a decision to purchase a new vehicle
as the safety of our furkids is of tantamount importance to us and we could no longer risk
their lives with the old vehicle which was unreliable and no longer safe. Two of the members
signed personal surety for the vehicle to ensure we can continue doing what we do.
This will extend our monthly running costs a little more but was unavoidable.
We require branding for the new vehicle if anyone can assist with that we would be
extremely grateful.
All we do is only possible thanks to your loyal support and for this we thank you.
