The temporary cattery is nearly finished for the cats to move in!
We are starting to count the weeks before the “big move” but urgently need help. Over the last couple of weeks the
 board members, staff and dedicated volunteers have been working very hard on the new farm. We have nearly finished
 planting all the poles and will start with the fencing within a week. Then we also need to build all the rehabilitation camps
 before we can move all the dogs over.
We urgently need people who can help on the new farm, especially men who know how to put up fencing. There are
 also lots of other tasks we need help with. If you would like to help but cannot go to the new farm, please consider
sponsoring a worker for a day at R150. To volunteer please mail volunteer@luckylucy.org
We still need lots of vibracrete and if anybody can sponsor a slab or even some fencing we would be very grateful.
Other items we need:
* Dog carriers
* * Washing lines
* Shade cloth
* Roof sheets
* Cement
* Gates (security gates like the ones Makro /Game sell)
Please let us know if you can help with any of these.
We have a Sponsor a Camp project. Please ask your friends, family, and colleagues if they would like to sponsor a camp
 or even a vibracrete slab.. Our banking details are at the end of this newsletter.

Adopted
Happy Mika

When little Mika was rescued on 3 May she was just a bundle of mange, skin infection and FEAR.
We cared for her till she left to join foster Mom Sarie at the end of July as Mika needed serious help building her
confidence and the shelter environment was not good for her.
Sarie showered Mika with TLC and Mika started to crawl out of her shell. So much that she was ready to go to her
new home. Mika was gradually introduced to her new mom.
Thank you Sarie from alerting us to the little one needing help and then stepping up and helping with her rehabilitation.
Thank you from us and little Mika!!!

Another Big Thank you to Mom Vee who opened her heart & home to Mika and made her part of her family. Now Mika
 has her own safe happy-furever-after.

Vee, we wish you and Mika years and years of joy, love and companionship.

Thank You’s!
