Volunteering

The Lucky Lucy Foundation is always looking for dedicated volunteers, to give their time, love and energy to that of a rescued animal. Read more to see the details of the volunteer positions we need!

Volunteer positions needed

In direct contact with the animals:

• Dog Walkers
• Puppy playmates who come to bath and groom them
• Dog Dippers who help us dip the dogs
• Cat lovers to help in the cattery, brushing, grooming and fussing over the cats
• Assistant helping with people wanting to adopt (presence time needed especially on Saturdays and Sundays)
• Foster homes

On the farm:

• Help with building a Quarantine area as well as a kitchen to prepare food for the dogs and cats.
• Cleaning of blankets and beds

Adoption, sterilization, rescues:

• Home checkers for foster homes and furever homes
• Transporters

Fundraising:

• Someone to help with fundraisers and fundraising ideas
• Help with finding venues for Adoption Days and Fundraising events
• Assistant with a vehicle, to assist with collection of donations
• Sourcing airtime and internet data-bundle donations
• Someone to help distribute and manage our donation tins

Awareness and Education:

• Assistant to find do community service on the farm or host fund-raising days at the school
