Update on Angelica

Angelica and her babies had us very worried… there were sad days as we lost 3 pups very early on… but with the care and love of her caretakers and Louise who took the little girl, Strawberry under her wing, we are happy to announce that Mommy and the rest of the berry bunch (6 pups) (Billberry, Mulberry, Sugarberry, Cranberry, Blueberry and Strawberry) are fat and healthy and doing great.

So it is with a sad heart that we had to say good bye to Loganberry, Dewberry and Raspberry. You never had the chance to grow up and experience life.

We are still trying to console ourselves with the thought that there must be a reason the angels called you….

Precious perfect ones… carry our love with you until the day we are all reunited…. You are in our hearts forever and ever!

Update on Daniel

Just popping in to say ‘Hi” and to show you how much better I am.

My last vet visit was Thursday and I got some more meds and an ouchie injection to help me get better soon. I can’t wait for this yukkie mange to go away, that would be a wish come true. We jnow have to work on my biggest wish ever – that of finding a forever home! Now THAT would be woofin’ good! Like winning the lottery a million times in a row 

If you want a nice big wet kiss from me, please donate a few cents towards my medical bills or just share my plea…
Much love and kisses
Daniel

RIP

Till we meet again Madisson…

Just a few days after we did an update on old Lady Madisson, the angels sadly came to fetch her old soul, because she was old and it was ‘time’ it does not make the hurt any less…

We thank Beverley who saw the beauty in Maddison almost 3 years ago when she adopted her from us. Those who were blessed to know and meet Maddie will always remember her with great love. She had the biggest presence ever. Our grumpy old lady that could twist us all around her little toes. She knew how to pull on everypawdy’s heart strings.

And now you are gone and life is empty without you. You left huge paw prints in our and especially in your family’s hearts. Big girl, our hearts go out to your family, the best a girl could ever get!

We know you are looking down on us with a big slobbery smile… go well girl.. . until we all meet again.
Love you NOW and ALWAYS!

Happy Homings

Happy Diamante and Juke

First Diamante joined our LLF family at the end of 2014 when she was found being abused, starved and chained.

At the end Of January Beverley (Madisson’s mom) asked us to help a lost boy who had burn marks on his back, she vowed to adopt him once he was better.

Not long after Juke joined LLF our gorgeous Madisson passed and Beverley decided to still adopt Juke and a friend for Juke in Madissons memory.
Last week after Juke’s wounds healed and he was neutered Juke got the all clear to join his new mom.

Diamante was the lucky girl to be chosen as a companion for Juke and it seems it is a match made in heaven. When they arrived at Beverley’s house they would not stop playing. Thank you Beverley for giving two furchildren a home. We are sure Madisson would approve and we hope you will all have many years filled with love and joy.

To the Supporters and Volunteers of Lucky Lucy Foundation 26 Feb 2015

Please share this newsletter with friends, family and colleagues and remember to visit our website to see all the cats and dogs waiting for their forever home.

We have been lucky with quite a few cats and dogs who found homes. Please encourage your friends and family to rather adopt than buy. The more animals we home, the more we can help.

We still have a lot of work to complete the dog camps and aim to have it done before winter. If there are any handy men or woman who would like to help or even sponsor a camp please mail volunteer@luckylucy.org

We urgently need lots and lots of paving if anybody has contacts with paving companies.
