To the Supporters and Volunteers of the Lucky Lucy Foundation

What makes Lucky Lucy stand out from the rest is the amazing and loyal people that makes our Foundation a force to be reckoned with in the Animal Welfare community.

We honour some of the outstanding contributions and acts of generosity in the body of this newsletter, but to the thousands of others that contributes in any way possible, thank you very much indeed.

Thank you for sharing in our dream, and coming to our aid every time we ask for your help. Whether it is helping us in socialising and rehabilitating our furkids, financial donations, or by responding to pleas for food / blankets / treats. Without you there will be no Lucky Lucy, and for that we are entirely grateful always.

Heaven gained a beautiful flower, our Daisy girl. Only 7 weeks old, she was surrendered to us all the way from Kalk- Bay on 1 August 2016. She was a very sick girl and tested positive for parvo so she was immediately admitted to hospital. Today she took a turn for the worse and the angels came and took our baby girl to bloom forever beyond the rainbow bridge.

Pretty girl, if we could turn back time and if you could have joined our family sooner things would have been so different… but the angels needed you more…

Even though you were a part of us for a very brief moment in time, your memory will live in our hearts forever.

Be a brave girl and wait for us until we will all be reunited.

Daisy, we will love you forever and ever!
